New Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program
GLP-1 Weight Loss Medications for Eligible Medicare Patients
Beginning July 1, 2026, Medicare introduced the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge Program, which may allow eligible Medicare beneficiaries to receive certain GLP-1 weight loss medications for $50 per month.

Who May Be Eligible:
You may qualify if you:

Have Medicare Part D prescription drug coverage.

Are 18 years of age or older.

Are not already eligible to receive a GLP-1 medication through your Medicare Part D plan.

Meet Medicare's BMI and medical eligibility requirements.
Patients with type 2 diabetes, moderate-to-severe obstructive sleep apnea, or fatty liver disease may already qualify for GLP-1 coverage through their Medicare drug plan and may not be eligible for the Bridge Program.
We'll help determine which coverage option is appropriate for you.

Coverage is determined by Medicare and is subject to program requirements.
